If you are a frequent reader or even an RSS-subscriber of our blog at blog.zikula.org you already know that there will be a Google Summer of Code 2009 and that starting today, we are looking for students, who are willing to help us.
We already have a collection of ideas for projects and we will introduce every idea in a blog post.
The first project is "Continuous Integration" - More are to follow.
If you are a student or you have access to students, because you are a professor, mother, uncle, sister, or for whatever reason: look at the projects, recommend or blog to people who might be interested.
If you are interested in one of the projects: Contact sc@zikula.org - Which is the Steering Committee, namely Axel, Simon and myself.

I believe that Zikula was rejected as a project for this year. Consider convincing them to develop for the project anyway though - we can always use some additional code monkeys around here.
