  When i add users from the admin panel it sends out the welcome email as if the person signed up him/her self, is there a way to stop that from happening for some of the ppl like a check box or something?? I cant seem to find where the email is being generated from i was going to wrap a if statement around it but like i said i couldn't find it.

  I am not certain, but I think that if you go to Users ~> Users Managers Settings ~> and scroll down to "Verify e-mail address during registration" and if you check 'No' and add names, they are just added. Of course, you would want to return and check one of the ohter options when you are done.

  yep thats it but i was looking for a better way. you just check a box to stop the email for that one user kinda thing.

  That's what I've been doing. Kludgy, but it works. If someone has a better way, they'll post, I'm sure.

  any idea as to what is triggering the email from the admin page?? if i can find it i can hack something up im sure.

  i tried to add user by hand form admin panel. email setting is correct.
  if i use same/used email zikula promts that email is used and no user is added.
  but then i use even correct, but different mail Blank Page appears and no user is added.
