To be clear:
1. You took a copy of your old DB (before the upgrade to zk)
2. Removed the theme tables
3. Took a clean dump and grab the unultered theme table and merge
4. Attempt the upgrade with the hybrid DB.

PostNuke Upgrade script (for versions .764 only)
This script will upgrade PostNuke v0.764 to Zikula v1.0. Upgrades from prior releases of PostNuke are not supported by this script.
BEFORE proceeding you should backup your database
* Backing Up user database... done
* Users database structure upgraded.
* Module database structure upgraded.
* upgrade Theme: FAILED!
* upgrade Profile: FAILED!
* upgrade Blocks: FAILED!
* upgrade Users: FAILED!
Unknown column 'pn_hash_method' in 'where clause'
UPDATE pn_users SET pn_activated=1,pn_hash_method=1 WHERE pn_hash_method = 8
* Existing users have been activated
* Blocks tables upgraded
* Reset theme to ExtraLite
* Dynamic User data migrated
* Search module reinstalled

This thread died without an answer. Has anyone been able to resolve this problem?
Trying to upgrade to v1.1.2 and having the same issue as emada. I have done everything here
and get the same error:
This script will upgrade PostNuke v0.764 to Zikula v1.1.2. Upgrades from prior releases of PostNuke are not supported by this script.
BEFORE proceeding you should backup your database!
* Backing Up user database...
Table '_users76x' already exists
CREATE TABLE _users76x SELECT * FROM _users
done

There are many threads that touched this topic.
Please search deeply in the forum, or/and with the help of Google, because there are possible solutions in those threads already.
Greetings and welcome Caleyd
