Depending on the functionality
it can be ported with ease to the Zikula standards, or possibly require some "advanced coding" like use the DBConnectionStack to extract the latest posts of a phpBB3 stand-alone installation in the same server...
You have to know what requires Zikula for the blocks (looking some ready made ones, default ones) then see what you can do to port a PHP-Nuke block to the zk-way.
