  Smash magazine, just release an article to explain how to use Javascript in a website, without being obstructive
  
  The example given are from the Jquery framework, but can be easily applied to Prototype.
  
  Note that this is very important for your website, as search engine bots doesn't read javascript

  Fortunately the core have a pretty good Javascript use.
  We can improve it giving it some order (hierarchy maybe) but it's already unobtrusive and doesn't depend on javascript enabled in the browser

  i was not talking about the core,
  
  but more to people which are developping modules , blocks or templates for their personal use, and who are not used to this notions
