NFS or Samba export on a server with symlinks  Bottom

    status: CentOS server with Apache+MySQL+PHP and Fedora client with Eclipse (with projects in /home/jami/workspace)

    problem: exporting workspace to server and symlinking projects into Zikula/modules directory (so different Zikula's installation use the same module code)

    first attempt, NFS : works right, but with a client (which is exporting the workspace) reboot or shutdown everything break up(and the export must be removed, at least for the possibility to delete the symlink), can this behaviour fixed in some manner ?

    second attempt, SAMBA : works right, and doesn't give the shutdown/reboot problem. but...while code files are corrrectly used, images aren't displayed by the browser (instead is displayed the absolute URL, but with file:///mnt/xxx/jami/workspace/image.gif everything is corret). samba or apache problem ?

    if someone has some suggestions...
