I have sent a few emails and comments around and nobody is responding.
Who do I contact regarding the "Members Map" at http://community.zikula.org/GoogleMap.htm
Thank you very much.

Unfortunately deleting a coord requires editing the database, which I don't have time to do at the moment. If someone else picks it up it might get resolved sooner...

Can someone please just go into the admin part of GoogleMap and under the "Special Markers" list see if my "Pilgrim, Zikula user" marker is there?
If it is you can just remove it from there.
Thank you.
P.S. I don't think you should give unregistered users access to http://community.zikula.org/module-GoogleMap-addme.htm. -

Guite
Several people, probably almost the whole team (see "Meet the team" above).
Not likely, Axel. Being a team member is not a qualifier of moderation privileges. Note: I have an Admin icon, but I have no permissions for it. This will have to be handled by SC or above. Or moderator map permissions should be reviewed.
OR..
Permissions to edit own marker would seem useful. Anonymous permissions should be denied, as well.

You can edit your own marker by going to modify your coordinates. -

I think we're missing the point here - in the version of GoogleMap we have at community.zikula.org there is no way to modify user markers through the admin interface - the option is not there. So, anything like this requires DB access.

Maybe I am missing the point of this thread, but a logged in user CAN modify his/her own coordinates. I just checked and I have a "modify coordinates" link available to me directly above the map. The link takes me to the edit page where I can not only modify my coordinates, but I can also modify my description.
Note: I do find it interesting that Houston, Atlanta and Nashville are all in China.

Ok, let me tell the whole story:
When I saw the "Zikula Users - Add Your Coordinates!" news article I did just that. I went to http://community.zikula.org/module-GoogleMap-addme.htm and filled in my details.
The mistake I made was to swap lat and long and I ended up in the middle of the Atlantic. So I looked for a link to update my location and to my horror discovered that I was not logged in!
Now there is a Guest marker or Special Marker that I cannot edit or delete. I did log in and add my location the correct way after that.
Now my problem is I cannot get my hands on the person in charge of GoogleMap on this website to go remove the faulty point.
Hence my observation that unregistered users should not be allowed to add their locations.
I installed GoogleMap on a test site and in its Admin area it shows a list of all nodes and you can select a node to delete. I find it strange that this site cannot. -

This site currently only has GoogleMap v1.0 installed. I'll attempt to upgrade it this evening.

Module is now upgraded, pilgrim's marker removed and a logged in check added.
