Hi,
Seems difficult to get help on this topic. I constantly experience login problems on both NOC and TRAC. Worst on TRAC. On NOC I can login and stay logged in for an average of two pageloads. It seems to have a relationship with the network I'm connecting from (telkom sa). If I log in from the same laptop from 'human science research council' I don't experience any problems. Please help?
Thanks,
Bert

Not sure how we can fix your connection problems
. I did not experience the NOC problem you mentioned.
For trac you have to login for each project separately right now, the cookies are not shared. This problem is known.

I don't experience those problems on other sites, or for instance on the community.postnuke. And I only experience these problems when connecting through the telkom sa network. So it seems there is some mechanism in place destroying sessions when connecting from this network (perhaps Askimet or something similar). But there is not that big a choice in Africa ;).

It's not that. I log in, and I'm immediately logged out. If I log in from another network it seems I stay logged in also when connecting from the telkom sa network. It seems during login, when a session gets created, some kind of validation takes place which fails. Once the session was successfully created it stays valid ...

My problems with NOC was some months ago (spam attacks time)
but lately my session behaves ok...
with Trac, sometimes a cookie gets corrupt when i try to login to many projects at time, and after the login process i stay unlogged... so, i clean the trac cookies and everything goes Ok.
Try to clean the specific project cookie when the login form doesn't work

Don't know what happened but from today (or perhaps a few days ago) all problems seem to have disappeared.
