  • As I said earlier it wasn't about guessing...

The examples I mentioned in my first post: .nl and .pl were just registered through the German foundation, .se and .no are still available...

Oh, and the one domain that was registered way to early because of insider knowledge is ziku.la.

So of course I did know icon_wink

.nl and .pl will be transferred to the PNSF as soon as possible, for .se and .no you need residents in these countries for registering a domain IIRC.

Yes, as Steffen said, I could not resist when I learned that Los Angeles has its own TLD, it was a must for me to get this one. Right now it is pointing to my development server with a raw SVN installation.

Some of us involved in the project took the opportunity to register one or two zikula-* domains. We even informed the team two days in advance about the new name so that they were able to do the same.

  • Yes, zikula.it has been registered by a member of the zikula team. This was a country that needed a local contact for registration.

  • Nice to see the new name finally out and about. Now let's get some marketing going to rebuild the community base!

  • It's been a while since I dropped by here. Thumbs down on the new name, but more importantly, I see that the forums here still have the same terrible index page. Little wonder that the community here died so much. The previous forum look was so much better, as far as the forums proper are concerned. The cosmetic face lift on other parts was OK, and still looks OK, albeit a bit on the bland side.

I see that Hammerhead is still around. Ahoy, Simon! Happy sailing.
  • Zikula sites will have a very nice looking new design soon.
It's sad to me too to still have the "postnuke look".

  • Nice to see you again. We do have an exciting new look in the works, but it's still at an early stage as we're taking it quite slow to get it right.
