Just a heads up:
There are still some important ccTLDs for $NewName available (e.g.: .nl, .pl, .no, .se, .com.au).
I would recommend to register them asap to prevent any grabbing.
Oh, and why are there already private registrations from team members? I think at this point of time there should be only domains registered by the PNSF (like the $newnamePro and $newnameThemes)...
And no, I have NOT disclosed the $NewName to anyone else and WILL NOT if being asked!

Steffen, this is not about guessing...
And I will not post public how I uncovered the name.

I think we know what domains we've registered and what domains we want to keep, but thanks for the advice. As for who owns what domains, that is up to the foundation and steering committee to decide between them and is especially relevant to international communities, hence the article in the past. Once again, thanks for your advice but we're fine as we are.
Congratulations on your stunning detective work, I'm sure everyone here is very impressed.

Well, thanks for the flowers but it wasn't that hard. We have been in the business for more than a decade and have been fighting domain grabbing, spamming and building brand names even longer.
But you better get that .pl or Jusuff will be quite upset

Anyone registering European $NewName domains will infringe on the trademark, which I would advise anyone against doing. However, having said that we are still working on acquiring all country domains - some registration agencies require a person living in the country of the domain to as a contact for registration. It is these domains that take the most time.

No, because I don'tknow what name to register
But of course, I have contacted the SC through the official way ( http://community.postnuke.com/Article2896.htm ) and I assume the dutch domain name is protected by trademark anyway... but then again...

due to registration limitations the .nl and .pl domains are currently registered on behalf of the german foundation and will be transfered to the PNSF asap. AFAIK almost all major domains that are available to the public are 'in the right hands' nowadays - but even more important $NewName is covered by an international trademark

Hhmmm... I wonder if $NewName's new name isn't really "$NewName"?
You see... I'm getting delirious in my waiting for "$NewName" :nudge nudge wink wink
