Everything was working fine on the RC3 of 800 PN until I uploaded a folder into the themes directory - pnDefault. Why? Because the theme I was using was looking for an image in that folder. So I took an old version and uploaded it and now I get this error and the site is in XtraLite without showing any of the other themes etc etc. eg can't change anything.
error message : Exit-Handler: Permission filter instance is invalid: [], [], [] Stacktrace:
If I upload psak to use I now get this:
ADONewConnection: Unable to load database driver ''
Any idea how to correct this? Many thanks.

Start by undoing whatever you did... resolve the missing image after...
PSAK? I don't think PSAK is .8 compliant.
What is pnDefault?

pnDefault was one of the themes under 0.764.

okay go into your pnTemp/$dir and clear them out....
Does that help?
Try switching themes...
...index.php/newtheme=$THEMENAME

Tried all of the above.
Reuploaded the DB and it worked OK until I tried the same thing: regenerate theme list. This is an extract from the error log:

Mateo and myself studied pnDefualt theme in .8 today...
What a pain! We discovered '1.5' bugs... I will be submitting either a patch or bug report to handle this.. It is not an error from you... but a missed bug.
I will upload a patched .8 'compliant' pnDefault shortly.

Oh well I got sidetracked....
Anyway, the patch for the upgrade process is in the SVN now, and the Snapshot should be available tomorrow with it included...
If you wanted my hacked up, but working pnDefault for .8, still just let me know, and I will upload it...

OK so I uploaded the new pnDefault. Hit the Regenerate Theme button and got this error and back to the default xLite theme without being able to get any other themes listed:
