Database cleanup tool  Bottom

  • Back in 2004 (yes 2004) I frequently runned a DB cleanup tool that was able to (a) cleanup Postnuke tables and (b) backup the database tables. The tool does no longer run on the latest PN version. Now, running at version 0.7.6.4 I think it's wise to run it again since There was no DB maintenance for over 4 years.

    Now the question,
Where can I find such tool. I can't find it, not here not on the net icon_frown
  • phpMyAdmin is useful for backups.

    pnMedic (I believe still works)

As always monkeying around with the database can break stuff... so backup first!

  • Thanks David,
But I am afraid that tool does not do the job.
    It can:
    Module Variablesc (delete them)
    Database Tables (delete them)
    Module Hooks (delete them)
    User Sessions (clean up)
    Modules (remove)

I think I need to find the "clean up options" the other tool had.
MySQL-tools was its name if I am correct.
