  • Running unauthorized software on company pc's is grounds for termination. Simply having that running could allow for an error in the clinical software, its not likely but would still have to be tested like a regular "installable" app. Thanks for the idea though.

do we want to include an astrisks stating updating main menu or whatever requires a Vista Level browser for windows..

I think what you really mean is an asterisk specifying Minimum Computer Requirements, like on pretty much every bit of computer software out there?

While I think it is respectable to try to make the viewing of a website possible on all browsers, that doesn't mean that the editing or administration of a website should follow that same paradigm. Clearly, there are enormous advantages that can be utilized when using browsers such a Firefox and Opera; so much so, that it is worth excluding the browsers that will cripple the software.

Just think, if Postnuke had a great Firefox extension which would allow Firefox to make changes to a Postnuke site, wouldn't that be something worth considering? You know, like tying in the theme engine with a Firefox module somehow...

Regardless, it is refreshing to find that this was even brought up, because it shows how much thought is going on behind the scenes
