I am using PN 0.76 and have recently installed the subjects module and added a fair amount of content. I like the way I can organize with subjects better than using the default Sections module. However, I have discovered that when I search for something that is part of a page in subjects, no results come up for it in the search. I installed subjects.php to the includes/search folder, so I don't know what the problem is. Has anyone else had this problem, or can anyone tell me how to fix it? Being able to search for pages is integral to my site. Thank you very much for any help you can give! -

are you using a custom search plugin or the search module?

Anyone? The module came with a file to be added to the search directory, so I assumed that that was all that was necessary to make Search actually search subjects. I just need to find a way to figure out a fix for this if there is one before I invest more time and effort into adding more content to the site. Thanks for any ideas! -

Compare the file provided by that module with the existent ones in your search folder...
may be is "bad formatted" or not all the required functions are defined,
so take a deep look to it...
remember that if you search something,
a checkbox to include the subjects contents must be enabled...
are you using a built-in theme search form,
or are you using the index.php?module=Search interface?

I have researched this in every way I can think of. I found a site (postnuke.ru) that I surfed through a translator. I believe it to be the support site for the subjects module. This is definitely an existing problem. Subjects is searched from the main search page on the site, index.php?module=Search however it is not searched from the Search block I placed on the site. I believe that the problem was identified in this post: http://babelfish.alt…%26topic%3d4924%267 but the solution escapes me. I have very limited PHP skills and when I tried to implement what I thought the solution was, the search block stopped working all together and gave me the white screen of death. Thank you very much for your response. I'm unfortunately still at a loss as to how to fix this issue.
