  I've a .8 of one or two week old and I've some problems with new user registration. I can't display the registration page because of a runtime limit problem. After some tries, I've isolated the problem in the use_user_register.htm file, this is the line with

  I can't find any plugin for the optionalitems function (even in the latest SVN archive), it's normal ? a already referenced bug ? a problem with my installation ?

  Same here on .8,
  
  Just go to the ADMIN and the User management.
  
  For registration, UNSELECT to show optional items.
  
  This will then ignore that part of the template.

  RC3 was released yesterday, give that a try to see if the problem persists. If so, check the bug tracker.

  I can't find the optionalitems plugin in the RC3 and it is still called in the template file. I post a bug in the tracker ...

  Confirmed - I misssed a usage of this plugin. What we had under RC2 was a duplication of logic between the users and profile modules. Both had plugins and templates for DUD items. In this RC I tried to remove that duplication but missed one usage of the plugin.
  
  It *should* be a simple fix.

  I've now fixed this problem in SVN. The fix will be included in the next daily.
