Errors in PNUsersPictures Module for PostNuke .8  Bottom

  • I'm getting an error whenever I try to upload pictures using PNUsersPictures. Can anyone tell me what this means and what I can do about it?

"_USERPICTURESCOPYFAILURE tempfile /var/tmp/php369eKB filename http://www.the-raunch-ranch.com/home/modules/UserPictures/data/0-1199332249_2.jpgDictionary driver 'includes/classes/adodb/datadict/datadict-mysql.inc.php' not available

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: safehtml in /home/allgaypo/the-raunch-ranch.com/home/system/SecurityCenter/pnuserapi.php on line 473"

    Thanks
  • IMHO UserPictures is only for 0.7.6.x, not for the 0.8.x release.
If I'm not mistaken, Quan is working on a version for the 0.8.x... patience will be in order here icon_smile

  • As for me - UserPictures working on 0.8 RC2
  • videokid - Then perhaps the text saying that this module works with .8 RC2 should be edited?

    Just a suggestion.

    Thanks
  • Then I'm wrong. If it says it should work with 0.8 RC2, then something else is wrong. My mistake. I'm behind on everything... Sorry.
    It works for mdee24.
    1. How about a folder which is not writable?
    2. Are you using ImageMagick or gdlib? ImageMagick is not everywhere supported by webhosts.

    - Igor
  • Thanks for the response Igor.

All files that need to be are writable. And I just checked with my hosting tech support and they said that ImageMagick AND gdlib are installed. I'm with a very good hosting company and have as much support as I want with my plan and they can't figure this out either. They spent a few hours on it too.

From what I can see, this isn't anything on our part. But, I'm not a programmer. LOL.

    Peace
  • No problem!

Which good hosting company do you have, I'm looking for an alternative now... icon_smile

And for you problem... I remember I had issues installing the latest version, I resolved it by installing 0.30 version and upgrading to every version after that. I know.. sounds silly, but it did the trick on a 0.7.6.4 installation. Maybe you could try that too...

    - Igor
  • Oh Gawd Igor! That sounds like a royal pain in the butt! I feel bad for you! LOL. Sincerely I do. Yes, it does seem silly but if it worked then what the hell! Most of my frustration for PostNuke comes from the latest version that I'm using. It seems as though there are very few modules for 0.8 RC2. Kinda redundant from where I sit. Maybe I will go back a version just to see if it works better. LOL.

I'll PM you a link to my hosting company so keep an eye out for it.

    Peace
