There is a plugin-system in Mediashare and it shouldn't be too complicated to implement a FLV solution.
Well I have spent about 6 hours testing
Pagesetter and here is what I have found:
- Images and Image URLs require photoshare to be installed.
- Flash (swf) requires that
Mediashare be installed. (No Flv
API available out of the box)
So without hacking code I am back to where I started. There does not appear to be a solution utilizing any of Jørn Wildt modules to display Flv files out of the box.
So I figure there are 3 solutions to this
1. Build a module from scratch. (Not the option I was hoping for.)
2. Build a
API for media share. (Seems to be the least time consuming solution)
3. Convert the free
PHP-Nuke Flv streaming solution that I found at
http://.steezmatic-designs.com to Postnuke. (This is back to my original comment that we need a video module for Postnuke)
So with that said I will attempt to build an
API for
Mediashare tonight. If this does not pan out I will have to find a programmer to pay to build a postnuke video module. Which of course I would make available to the Postnuke community.
Thank you for all of your input and feed back.
