I've downloaded PostNuke-0.800-RC2-FULL.zip package and try to install it on my local machine. During installation, I have an error message like:
"Sorry! No authorization to access this module. in [Multisites_adminapi_create] at line 32 in file C:\...\pn8rc2\modules\Multisites\pnadminapi.php"
Line 32 is:
if (!SecurityUtil::checkPermission('Multisites::', "$args[sitename]::", ACCESS_ADD))
from the Multisites_adminapi_create function.
Is it normal to have this sort of error during installation ?
Thanks

A minor packaging error. The multisites module shouldn't have been in the packages as it's not ready for use yet.
I'll see if we can re-build the packages without this module.

If anybody know a time frame I would rally appreciate it. I decided to redesign my site and want to pull all of my related sites under one installation. I used multi-sites before and it worked great. I would like to do that again.
I don't mind trying out what is available and working with you guys to get the bugs out.
Thank you guys for any help and advise you can provide.

Just to let you know, the Multisites warning notice still appears during installation of a freshly checked out of SVN package on 6/7/08.

Hopefully it's removed before 1.0 so as not to confuse tons of potentially new people.
ALso, the theme selection was not allowed. It had a paragraph about selecting the theme but no options but next. It defaulted to ExtraLite.

Multisites will stay where it is in SVN - the packaging process removes this module.
