While NOC heve problems - I'm getting more and more mails with requests for mailing list posts authorization. And all of this post are spam (eg. "Want to be ready for sex in a few minutes?")
At the beginning there where problems only with one of my NOC projects. But from yesterday I'm getting this requests from 4 projects.
Interesting this is that I haven't enable mailing list in any of this project.
So my question is - can I do something to stop this spam?

It seems that while GForge is replaced, that stuff must be removed.
The problem is that the SVN commits and module-dev lists are attacked too, so, have to remove the mail-aproval-request stuff of the GForge code.
If you can't configure the moster,
delete the problematic stuff

you could simply disable the mailing lists in your projects if you don't need them.

I found this with one of my projects. Disabling the mailing lists option is not quite enough. The list itself is still present in mailmain. The solution, at least for me, was to re-enable mailing lists temporarily then delete the mailing list before disabling mailing lists again.
Hopefully we'll not be running gforge soon....

Thanks Mark worked like a charm, I've never used the mailer but I guess I must have played with it when I first created the project.

What password should I use to administrate mailing lists? My account password doesn't work but I can't find option to set another password for mailing lists...
Ok - I found where to delete mailing list
