I'm frustrated because I can't seem to add subjects to my site. I'm presently using the Xantia theme spin_me, and adding subjects should be straightforward. Apart from the first 3 subjects, nothing happens when I add a fourth. I also get the message register_globals is ON, but don't know where to switch it off. Please help!Code

Welcome Ernesto!
The register_globals is just a warning about your hosting's PHP settings. It's just for the security of your site, and you can switch it off through the php.ini ...
About the subjects, i don't understand your point.
Are you adding 'subjects' to your theme? or what kind of "subjects"? sorry

All right,
so you want to structure your Xanthia theme with your site info...
In PostNuke 0.7x mostly of the Xanthia themes have it's own menu (at the banner/footer), and by default PostNuke set up a 'Main menu' block (left block by default).
So, to modify the banner links you must take a look to your theme templates (/themes/YouTheme/templates/master.htm and /themes/YouTheme/templates/modules/*.htm) and learn how is defined your site layout. Then you can identify the menu section, and modify the menu links.
Any other subjects besides the theme links Ernesto?
see you

First you are to create subjects to which you then add stories or news items.
There is a Topics module that creates Topics to which you can assign news stories if that's what you mean. Also if you run the AddStory module as admin you can add and edit categories specific to the News module.
