I notice that with multi hook if you add a link and use the word "computer" for the shortversion, it will not link the plural version of the word (computers)
Any way around this without adding the plural version as a seperate entry?

I fear this is not possible since you can not determine the plural programmatically. This becomes even more difficult if you consider different languages. It is worth a feature request in the according tracker though.

It would make sense to add word variations, though. Or even selectable wildcards for prefixes and suffixes.

possible even more swithes - (exclude switch) | includable switch
(poor example)

Again, feature request. But it would be complex...
