  hi team,
  i use fantastico to install PN 0.764, they provide a pretty easy interface for installing different kinds of scripts.
  
  I am eagerly waiting for 0.8 stable version to be released so that folks at fantastico adopt it.
  
  presently i have copied the latest release in the Cpanel's template directory, but i am getting some problems with post installation and all.
  
  Any clues when the stable version is expected released.

  Next release will be RC2 in the next week or two (following the .8x bug fixing weekend. Once that is released it's a case of monitoring the feedback and making decisions based on that feedback.
  
  That's my way of saying that there's no firm date in mind as it depends on a few too many factors.

  I am not part of the team, but the current SVN (which is the comming RC2) looks
  for a RC pretty good. Even Mark is doing his job and say what he must say -
  I think its valid to say: We will not see many more RCs.

  Any news yet on RC2? The 2 weeks are off course long gong by now
  Or is all effort going into NewName 1.0?
  I'm in the process of converting a modules from pnHTML to templated pnRender code and would like to use pnForms and DBUtil, but this depends off course on 0.8 release.

  RC2 got sidetracked by the problems with gforge (noc.postnuke.com) - without gforge stable we couldn't easily work on the code or work with outstanding bugs. There are currently two release blocking bugs (priority 4 and 5) in the tracker. One of these the fix is in SVN and currently being tested and the other is currently being looked at so an RC2 release is very close.
