Is it possible to define global default block template?
I know that I can set own template for specific block instance, block type or block position. But I've wanted to set my own default template to all blocks to prevent theme from displaying block title (theme::themesidebox adds it to all blocks, which haven't set custom template).
I've wanted to submit feature requests for that - but I want to be sure if there is no such possibility

No that's not currently possible - so please submit a feature request. The best you can do currently is per block position.

By the way - in spite of the inconvenience which I mentioned - the new block control system is really great. Finally we can create themes without pain

I've added a patch to the tracker for this. Hopefully we'll add this patch for RC2.
