Pagesetter & pnComments  Bottom

    I don't know if anybody has used pnComments, it seems EZComments is the most used hook, but I really like the layout of pnComments and I'm having a hard time getting it to display correctly in my Pagesetter publications, I put the code

    In my main display file and it will bring it up correctly but it doesn't do it for each individual publication, it keeps the same comments on every publication, meaning it doesn't create unique comments. I think it must be a pretty simple adjustment but I've been messing with it all day and can't quiet get it fixed!!! The admin of pnComments will not even display properly in mod admin, but it works correctly in my profiles.

    i think you have to define an id of the publication or a specific parameter needed by pnComments to display **only** the current publication comments...

    but i dont know what is that extra parameter(s)...

    pnComments can be used with two of Quan's modules only (pnProfile and pnUserPicure IIRC), it does not work with Pagesetter or any other module. In this case you need EZComments, Quan also suggests to use this module instead as the only new features in his will be added to EZC.

    But as EZComments is fully templated you can achieve the same look and feel.

    Landseer, you are so right, I must have severely over looked the different templates of EZComments! Thank you so much, but how can I get the avatar's to show up as they do in pnComments? I am using the Avatar mod that allows you to upload your own pics. Thanks again for your help!
