I have a few things I want to do. I am only using the default Extralite theme.
I want to change the links on the side, I shuffled through options to change them, but I can't find anything. I really don't need a faq, or links. I would like to change some of the links to whatever I want and to go everever I want, if I need to edit code for them, thats fine.
I want to get rid of the languages and the login area boxes on the left, in fact I want to get rid of anything that allows you to register. and just make the accounts if i can. I added a login area at the bottom.
instead of logo.gif I made a .png and it didn't work. is there something in the code that restricts it?
It would be nice to have a transparent box like thing behind the links and the news post area. Another PNG I would think.
thanks alot.

To change the logo see in your
Admin -> System -> Settings
and if changes doesn't affect, it must be changed in the theme template's code.
You have to know that in development environment, you can have Xanthia and pnRender config in "Force re-compilation of templates", to see the changes that you made in the templates, peraphs with ExtraLite basic theme, it's not a problem.
Happy PostNuking!

There is a Xanthia version of ExtraLite by MarkWest. It is my opinion that ExtraLite should not be modified, as it is the rescue theme. Also, Xanthia brings the templates to HTML instead of PHP--a lot easier to template with.
