I am so frustrated it is beyond belief.
I added Banners to my 0.8 Site.
I added a Client, a banner, uploaded the gif, created a block, and nothing.
After spending a good hour trying different ways to get the banner to show up... including hardcoding the HTML for the img tag...
I noticed that the img tag was showing up JUST FINE.
If you 'View Source' that is...
I installed some Web Developer Tools via Firefox and found out that an Ajax.php file is turning the damn img tag to display:none...
I can't figure out why.
I can't figure out which file.
I just need help!!!
The image is at: http://t-townderbygrrls.com/images/banners/skatescenter.gif
The page is at: www.t-townderbygrrls.com
You can view source-away! The HTML for the fricking IMG tag is there... But the image will NOT show.
I have literally spent like 3 hours on this now and I am beyond frustrated.
SO... I am going to cross my fingers.
Go to bed.
And hope that SOMEONE OUT THERE can shed some light on this RIDICULOUS situation!?!?!?!

Hey Randomblink,
I see your banner... but if I follow your link (sans www), I get 403. Now if I add the WWW to it, I see it fine.
Your source looks fine to me.
Unless I am missing something.

You see my skatescenter banner?
Under 'Advertisements' on the left hand side of the page?
I can't see it at all?!
I even copied and pasted the img tag to my About Us page at : http://t-townderbygrrls.com/index.php?module=About%20Us
And it is placed between the words TestTest and it doesn't show up there?
I have checked my Adblock Firefox Plugin and removed all Adblocks, in case that was it...
Nothing?!?!
You see the skatescenter.gif img????

I see it in IE but not in Firefox. I've got similar problems with one of my sites with images not showing up in one or the other.
Ahh. Turned off all ad blocking in ff and it shows up in both now.

Wendell
hahaha beat you, Dave!
I should send your posts to the SIN BIN and take all the credit! But I guess warring against another moderator would be a bad judgment call
