Got the CVS version of Ext menu and tried it...
yes, numbers appear.... for me that's OK, but changing the order has an impact to the numbers. I don't have a problem with that, but maybe, in future reference, some might, especially for people whom keep on changing menu's and orders.
If this shouldn't be the case, we'll have to explore that...

Extmenu block works fine, but is really necessary to change the ids when you remove a link or change the order? With a complex id-based permission system is annoying and not user friendly...
