Hi all, its me again. The clueless icon_confused PostNuke chic.

I decided to create a new look for one of my sites and decide the Seabreeze theme had almost EXACTLY what I wanted.

The problem is the theme isn't showing up like I want it to in IE (Internet Explorer) but looks perfect in Firefox and Opera.

    Here's the link: (Warning:Adult Content)
    http://www.bestnaugh…heme-SeaBreeze.html

Now if you open up one version in Firfox and another in IE its really obvious what the problem is.

The right column in IE isn't lined up on the right side. Instead its pushed towards the middle of the page.

And the logo, which in firefox actually drops down somewhat into the body (which is very cool I love this), is not doing that in IE and also the .png logo graphic is not keeping its transparency so in IE it gave it a crappy background color behind the graphic. The graphic looks very crappy in .gif mode so I really don't want to change it to that.

Now I haven't made any major changes to the coding. This is the straight out of the box Seabreeze theme. Which now that I've been looking at seems kinda messy and complicated.

So anyway, any help is HIGHLY appreciated. I've hit a brick wall in this and can't go any further. icon_frown

    1. png transparancy doesn't work in IE, you'll need pngfix.htc [or something like that]
    2. quick look: your header is pretty messed up...
    3. left column is too small acording to your http://www.adameve.com/images/products/8/8892_34746-med.jpg

I'm sorry to say, but you're mixing XHTML and old [oops, can I even write that?] HTML too much up... it sure needs a descent clean up IMHO.

Thanks for the input. I'm not worried about the left column. I can always make pictures smaller. As I said I'm trying to alter a theme to replace my old one. The problem is the right column and the header.

Seabreeze is a mess, and was packaged that way apparently.

If anyone can help me with fixes for my 2 problems please post.

    Thanks in advance.

Hmmm. Hard to follow, you are mixing in-line sytles with style sheets... making me dizzy. Move your in-line styles to the style sheet. Keep your style sheet in order in which it will be used to maintain parent/child relations.

Your blocks are bigger than the column you are putting them in... for starters... Why not use divs instead of tables?

Just a reminder: If you are going to link to adult content, make a disclaimer at the link, Thanks!

Sorry about the no disclaimer thing AmmoDump... My brain was in a completely separate universe at the time.

The style sheet was what came with Seabreeze and its a total MESS! I don't even know how to clean it up. I'm good at tweeking things but that's about it.

What you are describing comes from the original theme and nothing I did.

As for using divs instead of tables... I have no clue what that means... but I suspect that is also something I didn't do and came with the theme itself.

I'm starting to think this theme is complete Sh*t due to how messy the coding is. I really hate to download a new theme and redo all my graphics work but it might be a hell of a lot easier!

Too bad though...this was almost working perfectly for what I wanted. :/

I just thought someone would know a solution since Seabreeze comes standard with PostNuke. Why I have no idea.
