Hello, I'm having trouble :)

Basically when people click the topic link on the left they go to the list of topics I want to block some from view. I thought this was easy but something is going wrong
example would be limiting the default PostNuke topic from being seen
I tried

All Groups Topics::Topic PostNuke::1 None but nothing

I know I can limit all the topics from being seen by simply doing this

All Groups Topics:: .* none

but I can't limit individual topics the same way (example)

All Groups Topics:: PostNuke none

so what am I doing wrong? please tell me :)

please post your entire permission setup (when dealing with perms the order of them is essantially) - additionally a link to your site might be helpfull.
should do the job (mind the two ':' within the instance information)

Hello thanks for the reply. I'm pretty familiar with permissions in general so the order I understand, that is why I have been trying the new permission above even the admin give all so I don't have to log out and in (since it isn't a mod that would mess the admin up).

I had tried what you posted before and again just now however no success.

My permissions right now (basically it is a new install so I haven't modified anything except what was discussed)--->

1 All groups topics:: PostNuke:: None
2 Admins .* .* Admin
3 All groups Menublock:: Main Menu:Administration: None
4 Users .* .* Comment
5 Unregistered Menublock:: Main Menu:(My Account|Logout|Submit News): None
6 Unregistered .* .* Read

The site is http://www.lisaloebforkids.com (still in theme changing stage)
