Hi all. Pretty new to PN and I've searched all around but can't seem to find a pretty simple module. The closest that I think I've found is dadabik but it doesn't seem to have any support anymore for the postnuke module.
I'm looking for kind of a generic module that can search a db/table against definable fields then display the matching records. Like in my case, I have a database full of civil war veterans, name, where they were born (city and county), which unit they were in, etc etc.
I'd like to be able to search against a soundex of the name, or display all matches from a specific county and that kind of stuff.
Sooooo.. Any ideas where to turn? I would think that someone has already done something like this, as it seems a pretty natural thing to go into a CMS.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

Pagesetter might do it. Take note Postnuke has a built in search support for most of the core content modules.
