Hi all,
I'm completely stupid when it comes to scripts, and well I've been searching through documentation and FAQs for the last 2 hours so thought.. hey... asking is free and might save me another 2+ hours of work.
So what I want to know is what is the code to display the PNBanner?
I'm trying to do so in a HTML block. I have PNBanner activated, but my theme wasn't made for banners. I know exactly where I want the banner to show up.
I've tried figuring it out from built in themes like PostNuke blue but.. well.. like I said, I'm stupid when it comes to code.
So is there a code I can put in a HTML block that will display the PNBanner? I assume it would all work afterwards like the PNBanner module should.
Thanks in advance.

It doesn't work, do I have to put something between the " marks?
And does there need to be some kind of code in the theme files? Its a custom theme and wasn't made to have banners.

Between the "" marks you put the banner id, as the system needs to know which banner you intend to show.

I've set the banner code in the admin panel to 1 and tried both:
Code
<!--[pnbannerdisplay id="1"]-->
<!--[banners-type1]-->
And neither work. I did find mention on another forum that short urls cause problems, but I'm not sure if it causes problems with the banners showing or the link the banners go to.
Either way this isn't working for me. :(

Hi, sorry to see this has not worked for you... I am pretty sure it is correct.
So, have you cleared your caches, as you would for updating any XTE theme?
If so, you could try it more generically, viaCode
<!--[pnbannerdisplay]-->
