use scribite in an admin panel  Bottom

  • Hi,
    I'm currently developping a small module with the .8 last SVN release. I've try to use scribite 1.3 in my new module in an admin panel but it doesn't seem to work. With the News module, I can load the editor when I submit an article as user but not in the admin panel of this module. So, is there a problem with my release, my installation, my understanding of the usage of the "advanced" editor ?

    thanks

  • In the places where it doesn't work does that template have the piece of code that you need to add in it?
  • Hmm, currently I don't know, I've try with the News module and it works when I submit as normal user and when I submit as admin (in admin panel), I've no access to the scribite "widget". Strange because the only config in the scribite module is the name of the textarea and the name is the same in the both forms. Perhaps, there is a specific piece of code to insert in the admin form but where ?
    Ideas ?

  • I got my own scribite to work with news module, but not with admin messages. I added

    From:

    <!--[scribite]-->
    to master.htm, home.htm news_admin_modify.htm and news_admin_new.htm but where the heck is module Admin_messages?

    EDIT: Funny how You think otherwise after asked :)

    admin.htm file did not exist at my modified theme. Copyed it, added the row and as quessed after that it works.

  • Now I have a new problem. Scandics don't work?!?

    At preview they are fine, but at main view they are messed up.

    "Mikähän tämän aiuheuttaa" will change to "Mikähän tämän aiuheuttaa"

    And it's fine at preview-window, if I type that in and switch to check out the code, it messes up scandics.

    EDIT: Okay, it is suppoced to mess up scandics, and You just have to set "Translate embedded HTML entities into real characters" from HTML-settings to "Yes"

    Now I really know, that i have to stop now, and go to sleep.
