    Hello,

I am using Google Adsense for my PostNuke website (www.gruppolocale.it). No problem if I add the code inside a block, however I would like to take advantage of the free space available for banners to be set via the "banner" module (upper right corner in SeaBreaze theme, for example).

How can I insert the whole code of the script, given that the banner module configuration, allows only to set an URL for banner image and a URL for clinking? Am I missing something? icon_confused

    Many thanks in advance,

    Marco

You might want to check out http://www.openads.org/ and download phpadsnew. It will remain a separate script from PostNuke but once you set it up you can generate the code to replace the code to call the PN banner. It might take a little bit to get the hang of it but it has a lot of flexibility. You can show adsense, yahoo, flash, and text ads in the same space plus a whole load of other options.

+1 from me on using OpenAds.

You can also include the OpenAds code in an HTML block and place that block where you want on the page or inside an article. Or you can use an even simplier option, just copy/paste the Adsense code into an HTML block. Make sure you've updated your allowed HTML options in the settings module so the code shows up and you don't get an error. ;)

Many thanks for your reply! I will try OpenAds and let you know if it is good for my problem.
Another related question... what if I would display a banner, say, BELOW a given article ?

To let you understand what I mean, in the central lower part of the website, right after the text of the news..
    Es. http://www.gruppolocale.it/pn/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=724

I do realize I have a lot of free space, but I cannot understand how can I tell the system to display an HTML block centered right under a news... shoud I supposed to edit my theme (argh, I am not very expert in that...!) ?

    With kind regards,
