    I checked tutorials on block development a while back & couldn't find this info; maybe it's been updated, or I just didn't look in the right place. Any doc pointer would be greatly apreciated (beyond RTFM! icon_smile

    I'm creating a block that does a lot of database IO, and I don't want to call that every time. I can just code up a cache for myself, but I thought I'd leverage what was being used for RSS, and I wanted to be sure I used the method calls in the way it was intended by the PN team.

    You could write your results into a XML file and check for the timestamp to outdate.
