Hi
I am looking at may be using PostNuke for a new site, the only problem is that most of the themes in use all look the same!
We do not have much to put to it, but is there anyone out there who is willing to make a theme along the lines of this www.londonexpo.com or www.japan-expo.com
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Did you look at Post Nuke Directory under themes?
Did you look at the Themes area in the extension database (on the left of this page)?
Did you Google PostNuke and Theme to see some of the sources for themes?
Yes, the themes included with the distribution have a postnuke-ness to them. You can pretty easily modify them, of course. And there are lots of folks who build themes and will do so for you in return for payment.

There are many ways to go about getting the site you want. And the look/feel of the themes you've referenced should be easy to achieve with a free theme with a bit of customization. The next issue would be if you want to do it yourself or spend some money to have it done for you. I've got a few fixed width themes that would be a nice jump off point for you so if you're willing to spend some time customizing the site then you should get close to the look/feel you'd like for your site.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Hi
Thanks both of you for your answers and feedbacl it is greatly appreciated.
Basically what I am looking for is a combination of the sites I have mentioned.
I need it not to look like it is full of boxes which many of the PostNuke themes do tend to look like.
I need a banner at the top and may be another under it that can randomly change and you can check whether it has been clicked thru or not and the ability to turn it off or change it or the combination.
I know that I can learn many of the aspects of PostNuke and I did a few years back have a PostNuke site but stopped using it as it was hacked!
I am hoping that with the passing of time it has been made a little more secure, I know that there is never going to be a time when it is completely hack proof.
So in answer to one of the points made, I do have a small budget that I can spend and I mean small but, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

check out http://www.webvida.com/ You might find something there.
I'm not affiliated with them or anything, I just know Lobos is a very active theme dev.
Vanessa, one post above yours, does lots of themes too, you may want to check her site out too.
Alternative, you could look into coding yuor own Xanthia theme, it's ridiculously simple to do (I kid you not!), especially with the tutorial on the wiki:

There is also www.themelabs.com and www.portalthemes.com
Also if you want to pay for conversion, I can convert most of the designs from here to function with postnuke - www.templatemonster.com
The price for this is around $US300.00
