NOC project questions  Bottom

  • Hi,
I want to move some stuff to the NOC, do i need to create a project for everything.. or can I get away with adding a generic project name and then moving the projects at a later date (I'm cheap on time lately).. also, is there a standard way to "enlist" help/assistance?

Basically, I want to move everything I've got going on into the NOC and I'm looking for any and all suggestions as to make this the least time intensive process possible.. any input or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance :)
  • Devin,

It's up to you how you organise your own projects. I've got multiple NOC projects. Some have only a single module where as some have multiple modules. Basically i've broken things down into some, at least to me, logical groupings.

For any NOC related questions post them here.

  • For my themes, plugins and other goodies, I created a single NOC account and grouped the releases accordingly.
  • Thanks Mark/Wendell .. I might as well do it right the first time.. :)
  • i didn't find anyone specifically responsible for the NOC and had an issue.. i registered a project, but forgot some detail, so it returned me to the form where the scm had snapped back to the default cvs (I chose SVN).. i didn't notice this though until i hit submit again.. so if you could please delete the first project registered with cvs access that be great..

    thanks

    EDIT: thanks!
