Hi, I'm just wondering, is there going to be an autolinks style module in the ValueAddons? I know one can be found separate, but since it was a standard module and lots of people use it...?
Also, what is the use of the topics module in the ValueAddons? Since News now uses the category modules, and "topic" images can be set via this, what added functionality does "Topics" bring?

Autolinks will be handled by the MultiHook module. MultiHook, at least the latest SVN code anyway, will migrate existing autolinks.
Topics is present as there any quite a few existing modules that utilise topics so it's been left in valueaddons for now to allow existing developers time to migrate their code.
