that kind of interface for PN database would be nice as a sorta backend for the admin to use. Also if you could use that to "pull" info from another database to put into your PN site, that'd be awesome too.
site is dadabik.org or sourceforge

Looks too me that's a tool to create a database, which the modules and the core does on install. Why bloat the package with something modules and the core already do.
Pulling info from another database is a matter of writing a PHP-file (or whatever lanuage is used).
Why give a postnuke site-admin the power to really mess up the database? I can't see any advantage to have such a thing in postnuke. I would be more interresting in a database backup-tool, instead being able to fuck things up, for that matter
Can't say I see any advantage to have such a tool that can be more harm then good. Specially where PN is unfriendly for newbies. If you ask me, there should be a manual module, where after first install and login the admin is taken too, instead of: ok, i got a site, now what should i do.. As what my questions were when i first installed it. -

Yes I agree there should be a wizard or something that gets a newbie on his/her way. Also I would like to see a database backup tool also this would be very helpful because I know when I upgraded I really had no clue what to backup. So I have to say I agree with this gentleman. -

No it's a tool to work with a database not to create one.
You've got news and photos(URLs probably) and member names and...you got info in your DB that could be useful if you could get your hands on it easily.
My host switched to the latest and greatest phpMyAdmin and I export stuff with this instead.
It could be a backup too, just export the whole thing.
You CAN change things in the DB with this tool but I don't. I actually log in as a visitor not an admin so I don't mess anything up and it stays as is.
