I was playing with hooks and I noticed the default hook
Activate Profile for modulename
and I activated it for News and EZComments. After that i posted some news and some comments, but I didn't noticed any change.
So the question is, what should this hook do?

It is only a mockup, nothing more.
I guess the original intention behind it was to embed something like author information within particular content items.
