So I've been reading the posts on the forum and I'm a bit confused at the upgrading process. I read that I could simply overwrite the .763 files with the new .764 and not have to use/ run the upgrade.php script and that's it. Is this correct? I don't have to upgrade the MYSQL DB? Because the the docs say I should take different steps toward the upgrade.
Thanks -

Not that is wrong, you don't download the entire .764 package and overwriting your current .763 files. You only need to download the patch file and overwrite your .763 files. The patch folder only contains the needed files but not the whole package. There is no need to run upgrade.php etc since it doesn't come in the package.... Make sure you backup your databse prior to applying the patch....
Links and instructions are available on this page. Once again, you don't need to download the whole package, you only need to download the patch files...
