I would like to not have to make users type in a security code to download files. I am using Downloads 2.1. Can anyone shed some light on how I would go about eliminating this? -

I'm sorry but I'm really new to PostNuke and CMS in general. I'm sure the help you just provided is exactly what I need but I have no clue as to how I should use what you posted.
I want to learn so please feel free to point me at a resource or whatever if there are things I need to read and know so I can get up to speed and understand what to do do with statements like the one you just posted. -

Hi, don't know if this will help. If you look for a forum (search users) posting by Mark West and click on the 'globe' icon near his profile it will take you to his site. I found a helpful link on his site to a 'Smarty' beginners point. I don't know that this is the best start point or the most appropriate, however it's the best start point I've come across 'so far'. Brace yourself though it 'looks' daunting to the unititiated. like myself. Cheers, hopefully it's a start.
