pnFreeChat locks up web site

I installed the pnFreeChat module. The module initiated fine on my site but when i clicked on the link my web site locked-up my and was rendered inacccesible. I then had to remove PostNuke from my root file and reinstall the program again. anyone know what could have caused this?
