I have been playing with 0.8 for a while and now with MS2 and I am still wondering, since topics are now out and News wants Categories, will there be a way to attach an Image or Icon to Categories? I would love to see Categories working, as the concept is slick. Seems the implimentation is difficult at best. I would like to see how it works if it works. I can force it to work, by editting the tables by hand, but I am pretty sure that wasn't the original design.
Also is there a way to get SVN login so I don't have to download the entire nightlys?

As far as the SVN... just upload the patch(es) from the previous snapshot. Check against your dates of the last version you downloaded.

Categories do have the capability data-structure wise to have an image associated, but this isn't yet in use (as far as I know, I don't know the categories code all that well).

The news module in SVN assumes that the first custom data field is the name of the 'topic' image.

So will "Data field 1 ::" hold the full path to the image or if I use "/somedir/someimage.gif)" will that work?... also the second box is for Domain, will that be News for news?Code

Getting Categories working for News was no easy task and I modified the tables directly to do it.
I uploaded the Snapshot lastnight and came up with errors, so I reverted. I would love SVN username, believe it would be easeir than the whole package at time, but not a big deal.
Havin fun with 0.8.0, keep up the great work. Need to fix my templates to work with news better...
The pages module hasn't worked for me yet and I am looking forward to seeing how that works.
