NOC Support  Bottom

  • While wandering off by myself meditating in the deep forgoten back corners of postnuke.com, contemplating my situation and looking for answers in the dark places, I came across a place a little less dark... still grey and dim, but there was light from within. And so I reached out to it, and surprisingly it reached out as well, and so I went to it anticipantly.

But instead of the answers I sought after, I found reflections of myself. All that place held was differing forms of inquiring minds. It was sad, and it was lonely, and it looked to me for support yet I had none for it being a seeker myself.

I found it reached out only with it's own unanswered questions. It was then I realised I had come to the end, the place where all quering minds eventually come when there are no answers.

Depressing isn't it? So is the NOC support forum, and it seems to be the only 'help' available there. I'm sure I could have just posted my question here and got a reasonable answer or at least pointed in the right direction, but my only thought (aside from my imagination quoted above) was that any module developer that hits that forum is not going to be inclined to commit thier project where the support seems non-existant.

I think serious consideration should be given to changing the 'Need help with the NOC?' link to reflect to a board here where people might actually see and reply to the posts, maybe something under pnDevelopers Corner.

Anyways that my 1 cent (on a budget) hope it was at least mildly entertaining... now to figure out where to post my NOC issues.
