I've been doing some read up on the lang= issue in the head-section.
The function returns the value set in the settings for the language of the backend, and since the backend isn't multilingual, it's wrong.
The function should return _LOCALE, since this is set in the language files used, it gives the correct value for multilingual sites.

This function is made in 2004, so it's basicly not a MS2 issue only. Since .7.6.3 is on its way aswell, it might be something to change befor it's released?
