  There exists a Smarty plugin to create images from text...nifty indeed, yet I'm having trouble getting the darn thing to work...
  
  Methinks it has something to do with me not knowing how to call and load the prefilter...

  The directory "textcache" have to be on the root directory,
  not on the Smarty main directory.
  
  The prefilter you have to load or register before loading the Smarty template.

  Simple is as simple does. In fact all that I had to do was to move the "textcache" folder and subfolders/files to the root of my PN install...and badda-bing it works!!
