Sorry! Theme installation failed

I've uninstalled and installed PostNuke twice, and each time I try to change themes Xanthia gives me the same error "Sorry! Theme installation failed." And this is just with a default installation with default themes. It doesn't tell me why, or anything (not like I would understand even if it did). I've searched the forum and found one topic with the same problem, but it seems it was never resolved, and I don't want to download and install any plug-ins.
Is there anyone who's found a solution to this problem? I'm running on a Linux server, with PHP 5, and MySQL (sorry, I'm not sure what version, but I don't really think it's MySQL anyways). My PostNuke version is the latest stable version, 0.762.
