mp3.com theme and menu  Bottom

  • Im trying to make a mp3.com type theme but have trouble with menu

    http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/5339/ssph3.gif

in the image you can see the top menu (home - genres - mp3 players - etc...)

and there is a submenu, if "home" is slected then the submenu shows the folders (rock & pop | hip-hop | alternative | etc...)

if "latest" is chosen, then submenu changes and shows the folders under that folder (latest | SXSW | interviews | great albums etc...)

any code or theme like this already?

I do not want to use dynamic drop down menus, so is this possible with postnuke?

  • It is going to require some javascript. I can give you the code, if javascript suits you.
  • I'm interested in the javascript code to do that.

  • I actually think that this could be done with some creative CSS. I've been reading a lot about that at the CommunityMX site and they have some great tutorials to help out all web designers on pretty much all topics.

Well right now the site looks like it's down... but hopefully it should be back up again soon and then I can see if I can find the article I thought I saw there about doing menus like this with just CSS.
  • Maybe you can find a solution you like in the Listamatic.

I think you are looking for this(JS) or this(non JS).
