I am new to this stuff. I don't even know if this is the right place to post this question.
How do I best organize my FTP files for PostNuke? Or if I configured it right to begin with. I also concerned with security issues, like if my passwords are out on the web in the files.
Can someone help me with these issues or point me in the right direction to organize and secure myself.
Thanks -

Based on this question, I'd say some FTP tutorials in general might be of use to you. Google has lots and there are free FTP programs out there too, such as filezilla.Quote

With PostNuke, all you do is upload all the files from the /html/ directory straight to your website root, and then run the install.php file. The "organization" (aka "file structure") is already done. If you "organize" the files, you will break the site.
The DB credentials are encrypted in your config.php file, and all user passwords are encrypted in your database.
