I don't have a time frame yet, but I am going to be working on one soon. I''m not announcing it on m.pn.com yet because I jumped the gun on the current mod I'm develioping and announced it then my system died and I got behind in holiday prep, and now a mod I hoped to release tomorrow isn't going to be ready before the first week of January. I'll be using Nixt as a foundation, and trying to build E-Nom support in to it. -

Hi,
I've just tried installing this flash site builder but I have received thye following errors and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas.
I have double checked all permissions and direcctory paths and as far as I can tell they are all correct.
What really confuses me is - what the heck is "w+"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a standalone PHP script that does a really cool job of this -- it's in german though and i've not had time to translate much of it...
viewable at http://www.memphisweb.net/userbeta/
Thanks,
Blake

I too am searching desperately for a hosting module, and I'm a diehard PostNuke user... Was hoping to find a Postnuke Hosting Module somewhere... Are you still planning on developing one? Is it any where near complete?
I did come across a really nice one called "phpmanager" that is not as bad as most in pricing...
I asked them about using it as a Postnuke module and they said "There has been talk about it but nothing concrete yet..." Maybe if several of us request it they would see how much in demand it is.
I'm determined to use PN for my hosting site.... I just love it. (most of the time! :)
Let me know if anybody makes one, I'd even be willing to pay if it's reasonable... and if it really works! (Last PN Module that I PAID for didn't work very well at all, was full of bugs and I practically had to re-write it myself!) Anyway, Thanks! klw -

I'm still planing on doing something, mainly because I'm too cheap to buy one myself, but it may or may not be Nuke based. I've not decided yet on that. For what I'd want it to do, it would have to change too much of the core of the nuke user system, so I may start from a simple user manager and go from there.

I registered that awhile back, started working with it, found it lacking, then when I decided to go back and try it, I couldn't get it to work on my server with WHM, found out the developer would have to do something to it, and needed my WHM user and password, no thank you. now new owners, and if I want to upgrade to 2.0, which does look good, I get the code for free, but I have to pay them a fee to change my IP to my new IP, don't think so, especially not with their attitude towards others in the same boat as I am. I quit using it because I didn't trust the orriginal developer.

If/when I release it, I'll notify ya. I'll be putting my new site up soon, you can PM me here and I'll let you know when my development site is active. -

Man, a webhosting module would totally rule. Anyone know of any such module for PN .7x? I'm running .723 but a module ported for an older release would probably work..
What do you mean by webhosting module? What are you looking do do with it? Show your plans prices? -

I can't speak for Colin, but most webhosting modules I am looking at include a complete hosting management system, starting with pricing & plans, complete with ordering script, integrated with paypal or other payment systems, integration with the WHM so that when hosting packages are ordered, the WHM automatically sets up the new account and CPanel, sends out the welcome email and access information. They also include billing capabilities, renewal reminders, account history, etc... See http://www.phpmanager.com/features.php for a good example.
Eniki Hosting apparently had one for PostNuke at one time, but have taken it down to rewrite, and after 7 months, it is still unknown as to when it will be available. I am losing money while waiting, so I must find something ASAP.
I have compared "phpmanager" to the more expensive "whm autopilot" and as far as I can tell, it does all the same things if not more. My only concern is whether I can integrate "Phpmanger" into Postnuke!?
It seems like I could just use the Postnuke "blank.php" pages to cut & paste if nothing else...? Anyone more experienced with PostNuke think that would work??
At this point I really need something... Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I will be starting on a few modules pretty soon now I hope. I've got the eNom API guide printed out finally, and I'm going to start work on a few WebHostManager functions as well probably in the next month or so.

WARNING - STAY AWAY FROM PHPMANAGER!
I Need to Take back what I said earlier about phpManager doing the same things if not more! I bought phpManager 3 weeks ago, and had nothing but trouble from the start!.... They give you a link to download the ixed version of the files... But chances are, you'll need the ZEND Version.... Good Luck Getting THEM!!! I got one of them from another user... STILL waiting for other 2 needed files that I PAID For!
Help Desk is fairly quick to answer, but only Admin has files to distribute. Sent email to Admin on 4th day..... 2 1/2 weeks later... STILL NO REPLY from Admin!!!
Took them 3 days to give me access to the forum to even discover that I needed the Zend files! (They keep you out of the forums to keep you from seeing all the complaints!!!)
After finally getting & installing one zend file, help desk tells me that they've abandoned the Zend version and aren't making fixes and patches for it!!! Also PayPal ipn doesn't work correctly unless you let them go into your system and change some mysterious code.... I requested a REFUND (and I'm not the only one!...)
On the other hand... I now have WHM AutoPilot and it is so much more advanced than phpManager. VERY NICE... Pretty easy to set up.... A little confusing at first, but lots of "how to" answers in the Forums (with immediate access I might add!)
I couldn't really "wrap" either one into my PostNuke Site, but I made an HTML template from one of my pages (view source, edit, & save), and I'm using that with my client pages on autopilot. ... You can't even tell where it changes from PostNuke to AutoPilot.
Just wanted to warn others before they get burned. phpManager has a 7 day refund policy, but they drag it out so you don't know you want a refund until the 7 days is gone! Then you have to fight to get it.... there's always the Better Business Bureau!
Good Luck with the PostNuke Module.... I couldn't wait for it...
